It’s the 1930s on the Canadian prairie, and a tent meeting arrives where a tent meeting is least wanted, in a town in danger of drying up and blowing away. But the quartet’s four-part harmonies are infectious, and the local pool-hall owner sings a wicked —or shall we say divine?—high tenor. Tent Meeting is the story of the reunion of estranged friends and a strained marriage in difficult times, healed by the power of song.
“A bona fide Canadian classic, featuring hand-clapping old-time gospel quartet music!”
