Welcome!

Providing enjoyment, opportunity and challenge
for audiences and members through the staging of
high-quality musical theatre and light opera.

Regina Lyric Light Opera Society is a charitable non-profit amateur company which depends on ticket sales, fund-raising, and corporate and individual donors to carry out its programs.

Our season normally consists of three productions:  fall musical; a musical brunch, where the audience enjoys a Sunday feast and we present a revue of songs built around a single theme, and a full-scale, large-cast spring musical.

Membership in Regina Lyric Light Opera Society is open to anyone who shares its goals and objectives, which include:

  • To stage musical theatre and light opera productions on a regular basis in the city of Regina;

    To provide theatrical opportunities for local performers as well as directors, stage managers, costume and set designers and other backstage personnel;

    To surprise and delight audiences with productions of the highest caliber;

    To demonstrate the strength and depth of local talent to the community;

Left to right, Lorraine Larson, MacKenzie King, Martin Krieser and Jim Goode in a scene from Lyric's most recent fall production, We'll Meet Again.
  • To expand the knowledge and appreciation of musical theatre and light opera among our audiences and our members;

  • To bring something new to well-known shows and help give lesser-known shows the exposure they deserve;

  • To produce shows in a fiscally responsible manner, so as to ensure the long-term viability of the company and ensure that our productions remain readily affordable for our audiences;

  • To provide fun, friendship and fellowship for our members.
